Are you the sort of person who looks for ways to improve your health naturally?  The Law of Attraction (LOA)–an effective, life-enhancing way to boost your own health and wellness–may be what you’re looking for.

What is this Law of Attraction?  In a nutshell, it says that whatever you think about, or give your attention to, you attract to yourself.

For example, if you place your thoughts on what’s going right in your life, you’ll attract more of the same. Conversely, if you spend most of your time dwelling on what’s going wrong in your life, that’s what you’ll attract and perpetuate.  

This is nothing new–there’s so much common wisdom that supports this!  As the old saying goes, “Smile and the world smiles with you.  Cry and you cry alone.”  In other words, when you focus on the positive–on joy–the universe helps you!

The Law of Attraction harnesses the power of our thoughts to influence our lives.  Since the power of the mind body connection is already well documented by science, using it to influence our physical health makes perfect sense.

The Steps
By using the Universal Law of Attraction consciously, you can shape your health to be more like you want it to be.  Here are the basic steps, as I interpret them:

  1. Get very clear and specific about what you want. Whether that is more energy, greater stamina, or healing from a serious disease, want it passionately. Make it a priority. Visualize it clearly and regularly.  Be specific.  For example:  “I want to be able to walk 5 miles with ease and comfort.”
  2. Ask the universe–or however you construe the divine force–for what you want.  Do this in a way that is natural for you and fits with your spiritual beliefs.
  3. Believe and act as if greater health and wellness is already yours–”in the mail,” so to speak. Believe that perfect health is your natural state.  Be grateful, knowing that wellness is already yours.
  4. Open yourself to receiving improved health and wellness in whatever form it comes. Expect it to come to you through natural, not super-natural means.

Magic–With  Its Sleeves Rolled Up and Its Feet on the Ground!
It’s really important to remember that healing won’t come  through supernatural means–it will come through the regular mechanisms of the body and the actions of ourselves and others.

For example, when I used the Law of Attraction to help heal an injured knee, I didn’t just wake up one morning with my knee magically fixed! That’s not what the Law of Attraction is saying. We have to do the groundwork in the manifest world!  I had to go to the gym faithfully and work out to balance the muscles that operate my knee joint; I had to make the appointment with my wonderful therapist and show up and be open to receiving his treatment.  The Law of Attraction brought me the means to my healing–but I had to use them!

Working with Serious Health Issues
Using the Universal Law of Attraction is fairly straightforward when your goal is enhancing wellness, or healing relatively minor issues such as my knee.  It becomes more complicated if you have a major health issue, such as cancer, auto-immune disease, heart disease, etc.  With major health issues, the fourth step–being non-attached to the actual form that the healing comes in–is critical.  

To put it another way, the distinction between curing and healing needs to be kept very clear.  You may or not receive curing–the cessation of your physical disease or symptoms.  But with or without curing, you can always receive healing, which  can come in any form, and at any level of your being–body, mind, or spirit.  

The ways that an outcome of healing might show up for a person are infinite, and absolutely unique to that person.  The key is in remaining open to whatever form it shows up in.

Important!
Of course, with any health issue, it is important that you seek and follow the advice of a qualified medical professional. Use approaches such as the Law of Attraction as a complement to, not a substitute for, regular medical care.

It’s also important not to use the concepts of the Law of Attraction in a negative way–to blame ourselves or others for illnesses.  Sometimes things just happen to us.  It’s how we respond to them that shapes and creates our lives.

Conclusion
The Law of Attraction is every-day magic–the kind each of us does all the time.  That doesn’t make it any less powerful.  By being more conscious about using it, we can shape our lives to be healthier and more joyful.

The Law of Attraction may or may not be magical, depending on your point-of-view and the experiences you have with it. It can also be argued that it is logical, but in a way that is beyond our current thinking, tapping potentials of the psyche that are seldom explored in familiar culture.

Skeptics argue that it is wishful thinking; but since it can be proved through experience, it appears to be a phenomena in its own right. However, to prove it, you have to suspend all doubt, because doubt is a thought that deletes the desired effect.

The best way to make it work for you is to align your mind, body, and spirit with your intentions.

The consciousness theory is that God is in all things and works through all things. We are all made up of this “God-stuff” that connects the entire universe together. This stuff is called “consciousness.” Consciousness is more than just thinking, which is merely an imagistic and linguistic representation of sense phenomena. Consciousness is the entire spectrum of awareness. However, all you need to create something is some elementary thinking. Your thoughts create your reality. You attract what you imagine and focus on.

The quantum theory is that all atoms in the universe are connected and influence each other. The observer is not independent of the experiment and through the act of observation changes it. Your thoughts send out a magnetic signal to bring about a parallel expression of your image.

How do you make the Law of Attraction work for you?

The process begins by deciding what you want. You should then visualize and feel it as if it has already happened. Finally, let it go.

Sometimes this is enough for something to show up in your reality. At other times, you may have to repeat it a few times. There are no certain rules about it. It really depends on an intuitive grasp of what works best for you.

Often you get approximately what you wanted. Occasionally, you get exactly what you wanted. And, on rare occasions, you get something better than what you wanted.

What determines the quality of the outcome is how clearly you claim it before it shows up. The clearer and more specific the idea, the higher the feeling tone, the more the conviction of it having it now, the better the results will be.

The time for it to show up also varies considerably. It could range from an hour to a year. Again, the clarity and intensity of your mental projection is what determines the speed of delivery.

There are other things, too, that you can do to get better results.

One is to allow your mind to dwell and focus on the idea and be open to new insights and to explore new perceptions. You can look for people, places, or books that will give you more information.

You get what your mind focuses on. The more conscious you can make your focus, the faster it shows up, and the better the quality.

When you project a desire and let it go, the universe goes to work to bringing that pattern into your experience.

Action on your part can help considerably.

Action does two things: it creates congruence with your thoughts and feelings, so all parts of you are in alignment with your desire; and, it creates channels for you to receive.

The Law of Attraction can give you everything you want in your life, but you have to be willing to work with it in an open and experimental fashion before you can master its nuances. It works if you work it.

Meditation also benefits your application of the Law of Attraction. Meditation provides emotional healing. A calm, peaceful mind has much more magnetic power than a scattered, confused mind. Our turbulent emotions are what creates difficulties in manifesting what we truly desire.

By aligning your thoughts, feelings, and actions with what is good, true, and beautiful for you, you can heal your life and improve the world. With the Law of Attraction, you can get the happiness that you deserve.

I started SelfGrowth.com 10 years ago, and have been reading and following self improvement literature most of my life. In all of that time, I’ve never seen a concept so take the field by storm and ignite such passionate enthusiasm and interest among people as the Law of Attraction.

So let me start by explaining what exactly the Law of Attraction is, and how YOU can change your life with the Law of Attraction.

While there may not be one universally-agreed-upon definition, I think most authors and speakers who teach the Law of Attraction would agree on the following:

The Law of Attraction states that you attract into your life whatever you think about. Your dominant thoughts will find a way to manifest themselves; in other words, to make your thoughts, hopes and dreams reality.

So, if you believe you will get rich, you will get rich.

If you believe you’ll get the promotion, get the new car, the big house, get the girl – or guy – of your dreams, you will.

And the same holds true in reverse. If you believe you’re going to fail, if you think you’re a loser, well, you’re probably right. Fill your thoughts with visions of failure at work, crumbling relationships, health problems, then your negative thinking is going to attract those things into your life and make them come true.

And that’s the amazing promise of the Law of Attraction, this idea that ANYONE CAN change their life for the better at any time, simply by replacing negative thoughts with positive ones.

Now, I want to give my take on a few “hot button” issues surrounding the Law of Attraction.

First question: Is the Law of Attraction simply a matter of mindset, or do your thoughts and beliefs have the ability to change physical reality?

There are some people believe that the Law of Attraction works, but only in the sense that it helps keep you positive and motivated in order to go out and make those good things happen.

But others insist that the Law of Attraction goes deeper than that, and works almost on a molecular level. They believe that all matter and energy is in a state of vibration, and that these vibrations create an energy field that works like a magnet. Your thoughts, emotions and beliefs affect these vibrations and this energy field attracts similar energy.

So, positive thoughts literally and physically attract the things you wish for, and make them come into your life.

My own view is that the truth is probably a mix of both.

I think for health issues, psychological issues, well, any doctor can tell you of the amazing power of positive thinking in changing a patient’s physical condition.

As for the idea that thinking about that big mansion on the hill is going to change its molecules so that it will be yours one day – well, probably not. But it’s a nice idea.

Second question: Does the Law of Attraction “blame the victim?”

Philosophers and religious leaders have been debating the question of why bad things happen to people for millennia.

The Law of Attraction seems to offer a simple answer to this age-old question: bad things happen to people because they attracted them into their life. Either by thinking negative thoughts, or by failing to adequately think positive ones, people are ultimately and completely responsible for everything bad that happens to them.

My own take is that this becomes absurd if you take it to extremes. You can’t blame victims of random acts of violence, epidemics, genocides, hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes and say that they brought in on themselves. Some things truly are out of our control as mere humans.

Maybe you can’t completely prevent any bad things from coming into your life just by thinking positive. But I do think the Law of Attraction can still help you better deal with those bad things when they come.

The Third and Final question: Does this Law of Attraction thing actually work, and how can I get it work for me?

I believe that, yes, absolutely the Law of Attraction can be one of the most powerful concepts you can use to start improving your life for the better today.

While the term “Law of Attraction” is new, the principles behind it aren’t. This basic concept has been taught in one form or another by self improvement authors stretching back to Normal Vincent Peale and Napoleon Hill in first half of the 20th century.

So, the principles behind the Law of Attraction are time-tested and well-proven.

Begin each day by affirming the positive things you want out of life, and make it a habit to visualize the things you want. If you find yourself dwelling on negative thoughts and emotions, banish them immediately, and replace them with positive visions.

Start now and I’m positive you’ll soon see your life change for the better.

“Oh, how I wish I could overcome procrastination! Somebody please help me stop procrastinating! But not today, I’m busy.”

Procrastination is a double-edged habit. It deserves our attention as well as our appreciation. The guilt we feel indicates that our procrastination serves as the destroyer of dreams. However, when inspired by our connection to our values it also serves as the protector against wasted energy and futile activities.

Regardless of the type of procrastination, it’s important to forgive yourself for doing the best you could do, given who you are and what you’ve learned up until this point. You are a Divine Child of God and the Truth is that it’s possible that your sensible delays were inspired according to your Divine path.

On the other hand, feeling frustrated because your lack of action has postponed your good, is a message from your higher self that what you want requires your attention and you’re not currently in alignment with its effortless fulfillment.

Let me clarify the distinction between when we can appreciate our procrastination and when we should instead kick ourselves out of lethargy.

Once upon a time, I was stuck at the Los Angeles airport with no money for my cab or shuttle ride home to Newport Beach, about 50 miles South on Pacific Coast Highway. I knew I had to get home and I had neglected (procrastinated) to call friends to arrange a ride. Then, when my flight arrived, I was really ready to get home but for some reason I sort of meandered through the airport a bit aimlessly.

I admit that because I didn’t have the money for the fare, I procrastinated finding a ride for fear of having to ride-and-run, known in other circles as dine-and-dash!

I picked up my luggage, went to the gift shop, grabbed a bag of chips and truly walked around aimlessly for an indefinite amount of time. Eventually, reality sunk in. I had to get home and even though I didn’t have the money, I had to take the shuttle.

My heart raced and my stomach ached thinking about how I would face the driver at my driveway. What would they do? Would they call the cops? Would they take a hot check so that I could cover it later?

I made a decision as I got on that shuttle that would change my life forever. I decided to manifest a miracle. I didn’t know how but I knew enough about the law of attraction to know that if I could put my attention on what I wanted while handing it over to God, that something would happen and I’d be alright.

I got on the shuttle, smiled and said hello to the man and his daughter, the single woman, and the cute elderly couple. I immediately began to pray and apply my thoughts toward a magical solution and most importantly, every time I felt fear, I handed it over to God (the big U).

The father and daughter were the first to exit, and I began to really be persistent with ‘handing it over’ as the fear came in waves. I began to feel a sense of willingness to just handle whatever happened and found myself inspired to talk with the elderly couple. They were visiting from South Africa, had a daughter my age, loved to travel and meet new people. We laughed and continued to talk as I intermittently remembered my dilemma and handed it over again and again.

The next stop was to be the hotel of my new friends but the gentleman told the driver to take me home first as they were enjoying my company. When we arrived, I turned to tell my new friends what a pleasure it was to meet them and they were talking to each other. He turned to me and said, “My dear, we have enjoyed your company so much. Please allow us to pay for your fare.”

With tears of delight and gratitude, what could I do but graciously accept?!

This was a turning point for me and my ability to succeed as a conscious creator. My procrastination in arranging a ride inspired my aimless wandering, which in turn was actually inspired by my higher intentions to succeed in truly understanding the law of attraction. I was inspired to procrastinate so that I would show up at the right time, in the right pick-up zone to meet my new friends and manifest a mini-miracle.

This is inspired procrastination. Honor the truth that sometimes there is a higher purpose for Divinely Ordered procrastination. If you are running behind schedule, you miss your exit, you meander aimlessly, etc. allow yourself the flexibility to accept that somehow this too is perfect and in alignment with what you really want.

On the other, deadly edge of the procrastinator’s sword is the fear based procrastination that will inevitably delay and destroy your dreams.

The following tools may be used to overcome this type of procrastination. You want to set yourself up for success by inspiring inspiration. Yes, using the law of attraction, you can actually inspire and aligned action.

If you postpone making the number of cold-calls necessary to succeed in your business, then you are procrastinating out of fear of success, fear of rejection, or fear of failure, for example.

If you postpone working out and eating right, then you may be procrastinating out of a sense of futility, a feeling of worthlessness, or a fear of deprivation.

If you feel guilt when you look at your procrastination tactics, then you are being called to move towards inspired action from your higher self.

To overcome procrastination here are a few practical tips:

1 – Write it down! Write everything that you must/could/should/want to do on paper; write out your high-level goals, the mini-milestones, the tasks involved, and the decisions that must be made to accomplish your goals. Then, prioritize and write down your reasons and your rewards. If it’s too big a task, then spend just 10 minutes at a time until it’s done.

2 – Chunk it down! We procrastinate eating the Elephant because it’s such a huge undertaking! Break it down into bite-sized morsels (on paper) and ask yourself what is ONE thing I can do today or right now.

3 – Use a timer set for 15 minutes. You have 15 minutes to do ONE thing on your list – pick it and do it. If you are inspired to do more, great keep going. If not, that’s okay too!

4 – Just put on your shoes! Whatever goal you have in mind starts with the first inspired action. If you want to run 6 miles, it begins with simply putting on your running shoes; nothing more, nothing less. When you are procrastinating – simply ask yourself what’s the first task? Take action on the smallest incremental item on that task. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you will be inspired to run once your running shoes are on.

5 – Reward yourself – when you accomplish each project as well as each milestone.

6 – Be human and give up perfectionism! Do it imperfect on purpose. If you procrastinate for fear of it being imperfect, get over it. An action performed imperfectly is superior to inaction performed perfectly.

To overcome procrastination using the law of attraction, use both the law of attraction and Emotional Freedom Technique.

First, launch a living vision that paves the way for inspired action then upon awareness of doubts/fears use Emotional Freedom Technique to eliminate the blocks.

A – Inspire Inspiration with a Living Vision

Launch a living vision that addresses inspired, daily action. This is a one minute exercise that will change your life forever. If you will simply imagine yourself ‘enjoying the act of taking daily consistent action towards your goal’ in a consistent, daily living vision, eventually you will be inspired to do what you are imagining.

Launching a Living Vision that you are taking daily, inspired action is a “No Fail” method! You will find yourself inspired with a passionate, connected sense of certainty and eagerness and you won’t be able to stop yourself from taking action. It will work in one way or another every time.

For example:

If you want to be a prolific writer but you procrastinate or feel that you have writer’s block, then launch the following living vision every day for 7 – 21 days and record what happens:

“Yes! I am so enthusiastic about how easy it is for me to write every day. It’s like the words just flow and most of the time I don’t even know where they are coming from. The characters inspire me to new heights and the storyline comes out of left field, jumping onto the computer screen with profound clarity and conviction. You know, I’m so grateful that it’s always been this easy for me. I have always been able to simply sit down and allow the words to flow. I have to admit that I am a prolific writer and it’s always been easy for me.”

If you want to start exercising or be more consistent with your exercise routine, then launch the following living vision every day for 7 to 21 days and see what happens:

“I love exercising and staying focused on my goals. It’s so easy for me to make this a priority. I always seem to have the energy to work out, not matter what time of the day it is. I also always seem to have the time as my life simply supports me in achieving my ideal health and fitness. I know others say they don’t have the energy or time, and I just can’t even imagine this being the case for me! I simply feel inspired to work-out regularly and the time happens easily as does having the energy within to accomplish my goals. There’s something magical that happens when I put on my work-out gear or my gym shoes, it’s like the angels practically carry me through my routine as soon as the gear touches my body. I simply put on my gear and I’m destined to a fabulous work-out that I absolutely love. And, I love the way I look and feel. I love and enjoy my body!”

Launch your own living visions to inspire inspiration and action. Allow your living vision to be a breathing, flowing, ever-evolving masterpiece of the activities that you want and desire.

B – Use Emotional Freedom Technique to overcome procrastination.

Formulate your own using the following Emotional Freedom Technique set-up phrases and positive implanting statements as prompts.

* Even though I procrastinate, I choose to love and accept myself anyway.
* Even though I am a habitual procrastinator, I lovingly support myself in taking inspired action.
* Even though I sabotage my success by procrastinating, never the less, I am pleasantly surprised at how easy it is for me to take action from this point forward.
* Even though I am afraid of success and therefore I procrastinate, never the less, I see myself easily taking inspired, consistent action.
* Even though I put off doing what I know must be done, I love, accept and forgive myself. And, I choose to easily take inspired, daily, consistent action.
* Even though I can’t seem to stop procrastinating, never the less, I am so passionate excited that I am reliable and unswerving in my commitment to take action.
* Even though I hate the fact that I keep procrastinating and I don’t know how to stop, never the less, I find myself easily focusing on the completion of small steps every day.
* Even though I feel terribly guilty for being such a procrastinator, I easily choose to chunk my projects down and just begin it now!

The law of attraction is our ally in manifesting success and prosperity as well as the little things that we want in life, such as successfuly defeating procrastination. Remember that it’s important to use your attention to manifest your big dreams as well as your daily desires.

The Law of Attraction and How to Use It To Your Advantage

What is the Law of Attraction? It simply states that like attracts like. Put into relation with say for example money, it means that the more money you have, the more money you’ll make. Heard the phrase “Money attracts money”? That is the Law of Attraction at work. There was a documentary-type movie about the Law of Attraction that came out some years ago called “The Secret”. If you have never watched it, go get it.

The Law of Attraction has been around forever. It’s like gravity. You wake up everyday and go about your business without ever thinking about it but it’s there and it’s working whether you pay attention to it or not. Because of this, not everyone is knows about it. Unlike gravity and other laws of nature, this one is not taught in schools. Even for those that are aware of the Law of Attraction, many or most have not been able to take advantage of it and put it to use. It may be because that although they are aware, they do not fully understand what it means and how it works. If this is the first time that you have heard about this, it’s time that you learned about it. If you know about it and have not been able to put it to use, then it’s time to learn the true meaning of the Law of Attraction and how to use it.

What It Is

The Law of Attraction is what is considered a universal law. This means that it doesn’t matter who you are, what race you are, how old you are, what gender, whether you are rich or poor, married or single or where you live in the world, it applies to you. What this means is that no matter what your particular circumstances are, you CAN put this law to good use.

So “like attracts like”. But you must understand this beyond just the physical aspects. This law specifically describes physical energies being attracted to one another. But metaphysically, it has been proven time and again that just thinking a certain way will attract happenings of the similar way that you are thinking. But be aware that this law will work both ways! If you think positively, then positive things will occur. But think negatively, and the opposite will happen. Like attracts like. Remember that!

How to Use It

To use it to your advantage, it’s not enough to simply think positively. Thinking positively is nothing more than having a good outlook on your general circumstances. It has to applied in a more specific and deeper way as it applies to you in order for you to use it to your advantage. You must clearly know what it is that you want and what you want to happen. Firm believers in the Law of Attraction go even further by visualizing what they want at the present moment. This is your way of asking the universe for something that you really desire. With such a clear vision, you have to go and act as if you already have what you desire. Don’t just think positively and hope. If you do that, then that is called another term, “wishful thinking”.

Doubt is the killer of positive thinking. It is crucial that you be able to let go of all self-doubt. Many people wonder why it is that even though they believe that they have done everything that they need to do to follow the Law of Attraction they still have not benefitted from it. It is because of doubt. Look, everyone has doubts. It is the ability to overcome these doubts that will finally allow you to break free of your current circumstances and use the Law of Attraction to good use.

Mind Power

Letting go of your doubts is not a simple thing. In this case, the old axiom, “Easier said than done” really applies. Even the most positive of people suffer from bouts of self-doubt. But they don’t let it take hold. They banish it from their minds immediately. This comes from the strength of your mind to be able to do so.

This does take a lot of practice and if you find that you suffer from doubt, then it is even that much more important that you start the day with exercises to strengthen your mind. Practice visualizing everyday what it is that you desire most and try to keep that thought in your head throughout the day.

For example, if you saw a house that you really liked and wished that you could own it, see it in your mind. Visualize yourself owning it. Living in it. Waking up in it. Parking your car in it. Having dinner in it. Sleeping in it. You must see it as being already yours. What color is the bedroom walls? How big is the bathroom? Where is the TV set? Etc., etc.

Do this everyday and you will put the power of your mind to work and use the Law of Attraction to your advantage.

Yes!!! I believe the universal law of attraction. And why not? Whenever I think about my life n its events… I know internally some power handled that all. And yes! That power is the law of attraction. I read thousands of articles on law of attraction. I experienced this law, by purposely thinking on some specific thoughts. The simple definition of LOA is ‘like attracts like’ or you can say ‘as within, so without’.

Look at your past. Your past is nothing but whatever you thought deep inside of your heart. Yes! You are the creator of your life. This is the secret!!! And the ancient peoples also know about this secret. But the common man at that time is not ready to accept this truth. So they created the concept of God! And Power of God is nothing but the Power of Law of Attraction.

Law of Attraction is just like Law of gravity. You can’t see or prove physically the gravity. But you can experience it. LOA do not differentiate between good or bad. It simply attracts whatever you think well or whatever you think badly. Ok we will make it simple… If in the morning you have done 3 good thoughts n 1 bad thought, at afternoon 5 good thoughts n 3 bad thoughts, at night 2 good thoughts n 3 bad thoughts. Then your upcoming life is +3-1+5-3+2-3=3 this addition n subtraction is going on every moment that passing through your life. N you are getting your results in your up coming life. But imagine what? If it happens like…+4+2+3-1+5-1=12 this result will make your life more beautiful that you ever want.

There is not too much to say if anyone wants to say about LOA, but yes! I require 4-5 articles to describe LOA n my experiences with LOA as a common man like you. Believe me this is the magic that you ever want to know in your life. You can change your life. Yes!!! You have the power to change your life. Just believe that power…the power of law of attraction.

The ‘Law Of Attraction’ seems to have been the buzz word over the past few years with movies like ‘What The Bleep Do We Know’ and ‘The Secret’. The thought of attracting and creating anything we want in life is certainly exciting and inspiring. I personally believe in the Law Of Attraction and the power of creating our own future. However, there seems to be a lot of scepticism and ‘grey areas’ around the subject.

 Is the law of attraction real and does it work; is it actually a universal law? The theory is that we become and attract what we think about most of the time. It’s been knocking around the personal development world for decades and decades. Napoleon Hill was the first person that introduced the concept to me in the book ‘Think And Grow Rich’, an awesome and life changing book.

 The late great Earl Nightingale also said “We become what we think about all day long” (or words to that affect). So, do our thoughts become reality, do we become what we think about and focus on and are thoughts really ‘things’?

 Well, like I mentioned earlier, I personally do believe in the law of attraction and I have personal experiences to support my belief. But surely there is more to the law of attraction than simply just ‘thinking’ about what we want in life and waiting for it to magically appear. I mean let’s be honest and realistic, if you were to sit on the end of your bed saying “I am a millionaire….I am a millionaire….I am a millionaire” whilst visualising $1 million in your hands, you’ll probably have a long wait before the $1 million appears.

 It’s for this reason I think that a lot of people get disheartened or even depressed when things do not work out, or magically appear the way they wanted and then give up on their dreams and goals. So, it seems we need to be a bit more specific, a bit more clarity if you please. The sometimes overlooked and probably most important ingredient is actually staring us right in the face. The law of attrACTION…..did you catch that? Yes, ACTION.

 This was explained and made clearer to me recently by one of today’s greatest entrepreneurs and business minds and one of my personal mentors, Mr. Dan Kennedy. Dan said quite openly that the ‘law of attraction’ is NOT a law. He explains that gravity is a law, meaning, you don’t have to think positively or negatively about it. In fact it even works on inanimate objects which have no thought process.

 If you step off a building or drop an object from a height, you and ‘it’ are going to hit the ground….simple.

 He goes on to say that attraction is something that is MADE to happen, a product of strategies, of thoughts and of ACTION and behaviours. Pretty mind altering when you get it. The ‘secret’ is not in how you think. Thinking does not make it so, as he jokes saying, “If that’s true then where’s my ham sandwich?” He continues tongue in cheek by saying, “If we become what we think about, then I’m going to turn into a girl…”

What he is saying is that the law of attraction itself is NOT a lie, but the error is in the omission, or what’s left out. Meaning, thoughts CAN become things, only when certain actions are taken. This is very, very important and where a lot of people get caught out. They think that all they have to do is think about wealth and abundance and it will magically appear.

 It’s not to say that this is impossible, but I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s highly unlikely. There would certainly be a lot more wealthy people out there and the lottery jackpot would be divided among a lot more people.

 So, there are a lot of ingredients that go into the ‘law of attraction’, thinking…belief…behaviour, but most importantly…ACTION! Well, actually Dan says ‘behaviour’ is the secret, which I agree with. However, we can study the behaviour and the consistent commonalities of all the successful people on the planet, but nothing gets done without taking that all important ACTION.

 Find those that are successful, or have achieved what you’re looking to achieve and model them to the letter, take massive continuous ACTION.

Make the law of attraction work for you. You can be rich; you can attract wealth and financial abundance into your life, as soon as you take the appropriate action towards that goal. Your thinking and belief will shift you to another level. And if you don’t believe in the ‘law of attraction’ at all, you might want to ask yourself how you came to be reading this right now.

Do you feel you understand the law of attraction but just don’t seem to be getting the things you desire? Are you frustrated? Do you manifest some things but not others? The truth is you most likely have not been taught the “key” principle to using law of attraction the way it was intended to be used and not the way most practitioners are currently teaching it.

You may have studied the law of attraction, read law of attraction books, and may have seen the movie “The Secret”. After all your study, you probably have applied each and every step you have learned but something isn’t working. Things aren’t appearing in your life as you expected.

Instead of happily manifesting everything you desire you find yourself frustrated. You start doubting yourself. You begin to feel as though you are doing it wrong or the law of attraction just doesn’t work.

Perhaps you are able to manifest some things here and there but cannot find that perfect combination to allow you to consistently bring to you those things you desire.

Here’s a news flash. There is a great lie behind using law of attraction as it has been traditionally taught. In “The Secret” you are led to believe you simply focus on a desire and “poof” it will appear into your life. This has misled many people. Many law of attraction teachers have been trained to teach law of attraction in this manner. It is not their fault; they just either don’t get it or have totally bought into the myth playing out in this fashion.

Whether you are able to manifest on a hit and miss scenario or not at all, the fault lies in the manner in which you have been taught about the law of attraction. The movie “The Secret” leads most people to assume that all you have to do is merely focus on those things you desire and they will eventually come into your life. A perfect example is the scene in which a woman gazes into a jewelry store window at a beautiful necklace. In another scene you see her wearing that very necklace. You are led to believe she simply focused on having that necklace and she manifested it into her life. That in itself will set you up for a major disappointment!

I spent thousands of dollars studying the law of attraction, taking classes, buying books, enrolling in teleseminars and all of them were telling me the same old song and dance. I have been able to manifest some great things but not on a consistent basis. There seemed to be a trend to my manifesting but I could not put my finger on it at first. I prayed and asked for guidance and after several long months, guidance came and so did the answer.

Through my recent studies, I learned that the law of attraction is not a physical law and is not based on quantum physics as is traditionally taught. The law of attraction is a spiritual law, freely given to all by God. It is based on love. Through this law we are given things (our desires) through serving others. If you are using the law of attraction strictly for your own personal gain, you will gain little to nothing from it. This is most likely why you have had this hit or miss type of manifesting experience.

Recently, I had someone ask me how to use the law of attraction in his life and business. Among the things he desired was a beautiful woman, a large house, wealth and many customers. I asked him what the goal and purpose behind his business was. His reply came very quickly. It was to make money. When we discussed how law of attraction works based on and serving others, which in this case would be his customers, his true desire was still focused on the end result which was the money. I recommended a book for him to read and suggested he do an exercise that would allow him to evaluate the goals he had for four areas of his life and the reasons for each of them. Focusing on his health, home, business, and relationships would hopefully give him some insight on what he wanted and why. Until he could move his focus onto serving others and away from himself and the money, he would have little success with using the law of attraction.

As long as your focus is strictly self serving, the law of attraction will offer you little in the way of generating your desires. You may see some greedy, self serving people who have wealth. Imagine how much wealthier they would be and how many great things they could have done if their focus had been on serving others instead of their own selves!

When you are in business and focusing on providing the best service possible to your customers, clients, patients, etc. you will manifest more customers, clients, patients, etc. which in turn will bring you greater income through the growth of your business. You will find your life transformed. There will be more joy in your day. You will gain referrals and opportunities will open to you that will offer greater expansion of your business, service, and income.

So, re-evaluate the current manner in which you are practicing the law of attraction. Are you using it as a self serving tool or as a means to help others? By helping to improve the lives of others, you will far exceed your manifestation expectations through the law of attraction.
